Crest Nicholson Plc
AGM Statement
At today's Annual General Meeting, John Matthews, Chairman of Crest
Nicholson Plc, made the following statement:
'Since writing my statement to shareholders in January, conditions in the
markets in which Crest Nicholson operates have remained strong. I expect
this state of affairs to continue.
'We have planned to sell fewer homes this year but at substantially
higher prices and we are on line to achieve the margin increases in
housing that we have set ourselves. Our investment in land has been
excellent and we continue to have good results in bringing land through
the planning process.
'We are on course for another year of good progress.'
