APPOINTMENT OF STEPHEN LIDGATE AS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Crest Nicholson PLC is pleased to announce that Stephen Lidgate has
been appointed a non-executive director of Crest Nicholson PLC with immediate
effect.
Stephen has had a distinguished career in the industry and is a former director
of John Laing plc. He was Chairman of John Laing Homes plc from 1995 to 2002
and Chief Executive of Laing Homes Limited from 1992 to 2002. Between 1988 and
1992 he was a director of Beazer Homes.
He was appointed President of the House Builders Federation earlier this month.
Commenting on the appointment, John Matthews, Chairman said:
"I am pleased to welcome Stephen to the Board of Crest Nicholson. He has a
considerable depth of experience in the industry and will make a positive
contribution to the continuing growth of Crest Nicholson."
