Group Companies, Inc. on behalf of its affiliates, including Capital Guardian
Trust Company, Capital International Limited, Capital International S.A. and
Capital International, Inc. (together 'CGC'), pursuant to Section 67 of the
Companies Act 1990, that, as at 5th September 2002, CGC had an interest in
24,978,563 Ordinary Shares of CRH plc representing 4.77 per cent of the
Company's issued Ordinary Share Capital.
