RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES / TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

CRH plc announces that today, 30^th September 2022, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 17,592 Ordinary Shares at prices of €24.24 and €27.86 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £20.11 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 22,654,270 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 751,486,068 .

The above figure, 751,486,068 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, CRH plc under the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 (as amended) and the Transparency Rules.
