RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 2^nd November 2011 it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 2,218 Ordinary Shares at a price of €11.8573 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 8,986,601 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 718,911,305.
