RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 73,394 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.8573 and €16.4830 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.1630 and £16.7806 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 9,818,160 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 707,976,351.
