RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES 

CRH plc announces that on 11th November 2009 it transferred to participants in its employee share scheme 764 Ordinary Shares at a price of £14.1386 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 13,165,097 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 697,320,823.
