RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 1,659 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.18 and €20.8833 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £11.1630 and £16.7806 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 9,793,619 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 708,000,892.
