RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 323,567 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.18 and €24.2467 per Ordinary Share and at a price of Stg£11.36 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 11,364,385 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 699,121,535.
