RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 12^th February 2014, it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 590 Ordinary Shares at a price of £11.19 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 5,922,679 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 733,308,921.
