RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 9^th April 2014, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 8,380 Ordinary Shares at prices of €18.7463 and €18.8545 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £11.19 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 4,436,989 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 734,794,611.
