RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 16^th April 2014, it transferred to participants in an employee share scheme 14,972 Ordinary Shares at prices of €18.7463 and €18.8545 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 4,422,017 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 734,809,583.
