RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 3^rd December 2014 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 6,846 Ordinary Shares at a price of €11.18 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.19 and £11.36 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 3,814,298 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 740,711,638.
