RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 12^th August 2015, it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 3,327 Ordinary Shares at a price of €21.5235 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 1,547,086 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,075,398.
