RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that today, 23^rd December 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 5,608 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 800,807 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 823,110,446.
