RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 16^th May 2018, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 19,162 Ordinary Shares at prices between €16.19 and €17.30 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,698,523 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 841,691,815.
