Transfer of the Company's listing to AIM

A. Cohen & Co. plc (the 'Company') has today given the requisite 20 business day
notice both for the cancellation of the listing of its ordinary shares of 20p
each in the share capital of the Company ('Shares') on the Official List and
trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities and for the
admission of the Shares to AIM.

Application will be made for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is
expected that the cancellation of listing of the Shares on the Official List and
trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities will become
effective and that dealings will commence on AIM on 30 September 2003.
