Michael Buzzacott has been appointed as an additional Non-Executive Director of
the company with immediate effect.  Mike Buzzacott spent over 34 years with BP
holding a number of senior international positions in both finance and business.
  Prior to his retirement from BP in April this year he was Group Vice President
Petrochemicals.  He has also been a Non-Executive Director of Rexam PLC since
May 2000.  Mr Buzzacott currently holds 2,182 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Croda International Plc.
