Croda International Plc today announced the sale to DuPont Performance
Coatings of its 50% shareholding in its Australian Joint Venture, Croda
Herberts Pty Ltd.

Croda Herberts Pty Ltd are manufacturers of coatings principally for the
automotive industry and the disposal represents Croda's final withdrawal from
the paint and surface coatings markets.
