Further to the announcement made on 7 December 2005, Croda International Plc
confirms that Barbara Richmond, Group Finance Director, will resign from the
Board of Croda on 31 March 2006.

Barbara will leave Croda to take up the position of Group Finance Director at
Inchcape plc.

An announcement regarding her successor will be made in due course.
