                         Sale of Food Services Business



As part of the restructuring programme of the enlarged group following the
acquisition of Uniqema, Croda International Plc announces that it has sold its
Food Services business to AAK UK for £7.4m. The business is based in Oldham, UK
and supplies a range of products and services to the bakery industry. AAK UK is
a division of global speciality oils company AAK AB. Last year Croda Food
Services made an operating profit of £0.8m on sales of £17m.
