Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman

Croma Security Solutions Group plc (AIM:CSSG), the security services provider is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Joanne Haigh Rosser, known as Jo Haigh, as non-executive Chairman with immediate effect. Nick Hewson, will step down as Chairman with immediate effect and remain on the board as a non-executive director, as part of a handover period, until 1 May 2023.

Jo Haigh is an experienced businesswoman and entrepreneur. Currently, she is Chairman of fds, provider of corporate finance services, with a focus on supporting companies develop, expand and then ultimately secure successful exits.  Alongside her M&A advisory work, Jo provides specialist director training services and is a regular presenter at major business events on both corporate governance and M&A across the UK and Europe. In 2018 she founded OnBoarding Officers, an exclusive community for exiting military officers to help them transfer their skills into the commercial world and become world-class business leaders. A published business author and commentator she has written extensively on a wide range of commercial issues and has won numerous business awards.

Jo Haigh is currently non-executive chairman for the following companies: Cambridge Healthcare Research Limited, Fresh Start Waste Services Limited and Fundamentals Limited.

Commenting Roberto Fiorentino, Chief Executive Officer, said "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Nick for his many years of service and valuable contribution to the Group. We wish him well for the future. Separately, I am delighted to welcome Jo to the Board who I know will bring significant boardroom experience and commercial rigour to our team. Her arrival comes at a key time in our development, as we seek to focus on our cash generative Locks and Systems business and pursue the roll-out of our security store network."

The following information is disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies in connection with the appointment of Barbara Joanne Haigh Rosser aged 65, to the Board of the Company:

Barbara Joanne Haigh Rosser was a director of Reveles Energy Limited, which entered into Administration on 1 November 2021, the administration proceedings are ongoing but as at 30 November 2022 (being the latest Administrators progress report),  Reveles Energy Limited had in excess of £2.3m secured creditors and £3.98m unsecured creditors with the estimated deficiency yet to be determined. 

There are no other matters under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules to be disclosed.
