Director's Shareholdings
James Cropper PLC ('James Cropper' or the 'Company)
Acquisition of Shares by the James Cropper Employee Trust
The Company announces that it received notification today that on 6 February
2008 James Cropper EBT Limited, trustees of the James Cropper Employee Trust,
acquired 160,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence in the Company at an average of 230
pence per share. This was to satisfy future releases under the James Cropper plc
2008 Long Term Incentive Plan in which the participants, including executive
directors, have a potential interest subject to the achievement of performance
targets.
James Cropper EBT Limited is now interested in 160,000 ordinary shares of 25
pence each, which represents 1.88% of the issued share capital of the Company.
The Directors of James Cropper EBT Limited include the following non-executive
directors of the Company: James Cropper, Mark Cropper, Peter Herring and David
Wilks.
As a result of the transaction their beneficial and non-beneficial interests in
the Company are as follows:
