Board Changes
The Board of Clarity Commerce Solutions (AIM: CCS, 'the Company') is pleased to
announce a number of changes to the Board.
In summary, John O'Hara and Ken Smith, join the Board with immediate effect, Sir
Colin Chandler remains, moving into the role of Non-Executive Deputy Chairman,
Graham York remains as CEO; Tim Bittleston leaves the Board with immediate
effect and Peter Walker remains on the Board until the end of the month, when he
will step down.
John O'Hara (51) is appointed, as Non-Executive Chairman, replacing Tim
Bittleston. John brings with him a wealth of experience relevant to CCS and its
business sector.
John led the negotiations for Total Hospitality Solutions Limited and Total
Hospitality Solutions (UK) Limited, which were acquired by Clarity on 22 May
2007.
He has had over 20 years experience across the technology sector in the UK, New
Zealand and the US. During that time he has founded, grown and successfully
exited three technology companies; one was sold privately, one listed in the US
on NASDAQ and one was publicly listed in New Zealand.
In 2005 John released a book titled Commercialising Innovation and he holds an
honorary Master of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship degree.
John holds 255,801 shares in the Company representing 1.03% of the total voting
rights. John also has an interest in a further 255,802 shares held in The O'Hara
Trust representing a further 1.03%.
Under Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules, the following information is

Kenneth Ronald Smith BA, CA (49) is appointed, as Chief Financial Officer. Ken
will fulfil the responsibilities of this role in a part time capacity.
Ken is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Qualifying with Deloittes in Glasgow he spent four years with the firm's Nairobi
practice as Senior Manager. Following his return to the UK in 1986, as Group
Finance Director of Alphameric plc, he was instrumental in that company's
turnaround and return to profitable growth. Since leaving Alphameric in 1996,
he has been part-time financial director, or consultant, to a variety of
companies in the IT sector, with particular emphasis on fundraising and
turnarounds. Ken was closely involved in the acquisition of Cyntergy Services
Limited, which Clarity acquired in 2003.
Under Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules, the following information is
disclosed in relation to Kenneth Smith in addition to the information above:
Fintraduk Ltd - An Alphameric plc subsidiary was subject to a winding up
petition in 1992 as part of the group's financial restructuring, with the
company subsequently being dissolved on 9 November 1994.
Fintradis Ltd - An Alphameric plc subsidiary was subject to a winding up
petition in 1992 as part of the group's financial restructuring, with the
company subsequently being dissolved on 1 June 1994.
Market Information Services Limited went into administrative receivership on 7
February 2002. The assets of the Company were subsequently sold to Moneyline
Telerate Limited. The company was dissolved on 29 July 2003.

Sir Colin Chandler remains on the Board in the capacity of Non-Executive Deputy
Chairman. The Company will continue to benefit from his wealth of experience in
public company life.
Graham York remains as Chief Executive Officer. Graham has considerable
knowledge of the business and will be focussing on Group strategy and key
customer relationships.
Tim Bittleston has resigned from the Board. During his short tenure with the
Company Tim made a very favourable impression on the stakeholders of CCS,
particularly its shareholders, for which the Board extends their thanks and
appreciation. We wish him well in his other appointments.
