Clarity secures early Leisure.Net software contract
Clarity Commerce Solutions plc, (AIM: CCS), a leading supplier of management
software solutions for the retail and leisure sectors, has secured a private
sector contract for an early release of its next generation software. Recently
launched health and fitness operator FitSpace has installed part of Clarity's
Leisure.Net solution at its Bournemouth location.
The early release software is seen as an important milestone towards the full
Leisure.Net product launch, and Clarity is delighted that an organisation with
FitSpace's pedigree has selected it. FitSpace is backed by a VC consortium
including an ex Esporta MD, while the operational directors offer extensive
leisure sector experience.
Clarity software is well established in the leisure market, across private
sector operators as well as many of the UK's largest local authority run sites.
The innovative Leisure.Net Membership and Customer Records modules are the
latest in a series of key new product releases by the company during 2006, and
will give FitSpace customers unprecedented access to and control of their
accounts.
FitSpace MD Kenny McAndrew said, 'We required a partner with the ethos and
capability to develop and deliver this public facing membership solution. The
software is absolutely key to the success of our business model.'
Clarity CEO Graham York comments, 'FitSpace is a dynamic new entrant to the
leisure sector, and we are delighted with this early endorsement of Clarity's
new Leisure.Net product. Our new software provides a compelling solution for
Clarity's existing customer community, and will help us succeed in an array of
related leisure markets.'
