Clarity Commerce Solutions plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed on
12 April 2005 that Mr John O'Connell, Chairman of the Company, purchased 50,000
ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company at 73p per ordinary share on 12 April
2005.  Following this transaction, Mr O'Connell's interest in the Company stands
at 50,000 shares, representing approximately 0.3% of the Company.
