Clarity secures EuroPalaces cinema IT contract
Clarity Commerce Solutions plc, the leading supplier of management software
solutions for the entertainment, ticketing, hospitality and leisure sectors, is
pleased to announce a contract extension worth 2.4 million euros with cinema
operator EuroPalaces.
EuroPalaces, the owner of Pathe and Gaumont cinemas, and the biggest cinema
operator in Western Europe, have signed a 3 year contract extending maintenance
and support services provision. Clarity is now EuroPalaces' exclusive supplier
for ticketing systems in France.
Clarity's XML Gateway interface is being used to help EuroPalaces open their
cinema ticketing business for distribution through remote sales channels.
Clarity has been commissioned to extend existing ticketing software, with orders
placed for system upgrades for EuroPalaces French outlets.
EuroPalaces is well established as a market leading cinema circuit and multiplex
site operator in Europe, with over 41 million cinema admissions in 2004, and
continues to develop its European network. This contract continues Clarity's
success in securing IT systems business with leading multi-site cinema venue
operators.
