Publication of prospectus in relation to the offer for subscription of up to 20 million Income Shares and 20 million Growth Shares

Further to the announcement made by F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc (the "Company") on 28 October 2011 in relation to the Board's proposals to offer new Income Shares and Growth Shares to potential new and existing investors (the "Offer") and the subsequent approvals being granted in respect of the Offer by the Company's shareholders at the general meeting held on 25 November 2011, the Board is pleased to announce that it proposes to proceed with the Offer and that a prospectus in relation to the proposed Offer has been approved by the UK Listing Authority. 

Expected timetable of principal events

Latest time and date for receipt of F&C Plan Application Forms	5 pm on 21 February
Latest time and date for receipt of the Application Forms under the Offer	11 am on 29 February
Calculation Date (for the purposes of the Offer Price)	close of business on 29 February
Regulatory Information Service announcement of the results of the Offer and the Offer Price	2 March
Admission of Shares to the Official List becomes effective and dealings commence in Shares on the London Stock Exchange	8 am on 7 March
Crediting of CREST accounts in respect of Shares	8 am on 7 March
Share certificates despatched in respect of Shares	week commencing 12 March
