The Board of F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc announces that on 16 July 2008 the Company purchased 165,000 Income shares of 10p each at a price of 82p per Income share to be held in treasury and 200,000 Growth shares of 10p each at a price of 81.75p per Growth share to be held in treasury.
Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 21,907,192 Income shares and 20,935,567 Growth shares, of which 600,000 Income shares and 825,000 Growth shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc is 21,307,192 Income shares and 20,110,567 Growth shares.
The above figures (21,307,192 Income shares and 20,110,567 Growth shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
