The Board of F&C Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce that Sharon Brown has been appointed as a non-executive Director with effect from 16 September 2013. 

Sharon is a non-executive director and Chairman of the audit committee of Fidelity Special Values PLC.  She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and was, until recently, the Finance Director and Company Secretary of Dobbies Garden Centres Limited.
