TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Information disclosed in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.6

CT UK Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange through Cavendish Securities plc to be held in treasury.

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	100,000
Lowest price per share paid:	335.75p
Highest price per share paid:	335.75p
Weighted average price paid:	335.75p

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 6,503,177 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 100,785,845 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is now 100,785,845 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
