Dividend and Capital Return


The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces a fourth quarter dividend of
1.375 pence per share on the A shares of the Company. This dividend will be
paid on 9 May 2008 to A shareholders on the register on 4 April 2008. A fourth
quarter capital return of 1.375 pence per share will be paid on the B shares of
the Company on 9 May 2008 to B shareholders on the register on 4 April 2008.
Capital returns on B shares are paid at the same time and in an amount equal to
each dividend paid on an A share.

The dividend yield on an A share in respect of the period to 31 March 2008 is
6.4 per cent. based on the A share price of 84 pence as at 14 March 2008. This
compares favourably with the yield on the FTSE All-Share Index of 3.8 per cent
at the same date.

For those shareholders that hold units (each comprising 3 A shares and one B
share) the distribution yield on this unit holding was 6.5 per cent based on a
unit price of 329 pence as at 14 March 2008.
