TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces that on 28 February 2011 the Company purchased 400,000 A shares at a price of 81.5p per A share to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 102,067,144 A shares and 32,076,703 B shares, of which 6,889,000 A shares and 25,000 B shares are held in treasury.  Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Investors Capital Trust plc is 95,178,144 A shares and 32,051,703 B shares.

The above figures (95,178,144 and 32,051,703) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Investors Capital Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
