TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces that on 3 April 2013 the Company purchased 500,000 A shares at a price of 92.0p per A share to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 102,067,144 A shares and 32,076,703 B shares, of which 10,039,000 A shares and 655,000 B shares are held in treasury.  Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Investors Capital Trust plc is 92,028,144 A shares and 31,421,703 B shares.

The above figures (92,028,144 and 31,421,703) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Investors Capital Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
