Acquisition of Newtel Communicaciones

The Carphone Warehouse announces that it has acquired the entire issued share
capital of Newtel Communicaciones Espana S.L. from Orion Telecommunications
Limited, a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, for a cash
consideration of approximately £370,000.
