The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC ('Company')

Listing of Shares

The Company has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 3,109,994
Ordinary Shares of 0.1 pence each to be admitted to the Official List and for
them to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

The application comprises a blocklisting of 3,109,994 shares under the Company
Share Option Plan.

It is expected that admission of the shares will take place and dealings will
commence on 22nd January 2007.
