The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC ('Company')

Listing of Shares

The Company has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 1,000,000
Ordinary Shares of 0.1 pence each to be admitted to the Official List and for
them to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

The application comprises a blocklisting of 1,000,000 shares as a result of
options to be exercised pursuant to an option agreement dated 24th June 2000.

It is expected that admission of the shares will take place and dealings will
commence on 30th November 2005.
