The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC ('Company')
Interest in Shares
The Company received notice on 31st December 2001 that, on 27th December 2001,
Geoffroy Roux de Bezieux a director of the Company sold 100,000 ordinary
shares of 0.1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), being 0.012 % of the
issued shares, at a price of 124.25p per share and that on 28th December 2001
he purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares (being 0.012 % of the issued shares) at a
price of 124.5p per share.
The transactions were undertaken for capital gains tax purposes. There is no
change in his overall shareholding in the Company, which remains at 13,038,670
Ordinary Shares being 1.57% of the issued share capital of the Company.
