                               Interest in Shares

The Company received notice on 28th March 2002 that on 27th March 2002 Morgan
Stanley Securities Limited ('MSSL') returned stock previously borrowed from
third parties with the result that MSSL, and the group companies which are
direct or indirect holding companies of MSSL, no longer have a notifiable
interest in the Company's shares in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985.
