                               Interest in Shares

In respect of a reduction in shareholding related to stock lending arrangements
the Company received the following notice on 21 March 2002 from Morgan Stanley
Securities Limited ('MSSL'):

'On the 18 March 2002 MSSL disposed of its interest in certain shares in the
Company resulting in MSSL no longer holding a notifiable interest in the
Company's shares in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985'
