           Carphone Warehouse agrees transfer of certain Swiss assets

Carphone Warehouse has agreed a deal with Swisscom AG to transfer all of its
store leases, other related property leases and retail and head office employees
relating to its mobile distribution business in Switzerland. The gross assets of
the mobile distribution business will remain within Carphone Warehouse along
with its fixed line and insurance businesses in Switzerland.

The transaction is wholly unconditional and completion will take place on 1 May
2008.
