Completion of September 2014 Share Conversion

The Company today announces the conversion of a number of Euro Shares into Sterling Shares (the "Conversion").

On the basis of the net asset values of the Company's shares as at 30 September 2014 (and using spot currency exchange rates as appropriate as at 30 September 2014), the conversion ratio, calculated in accordance with the Company's articles of incorporation, is as follows:

Euro to Sterling 0.777006

The Company received conversion notices in respect of 1,982,000 Euro Shares, on this basis applications have been made for the admission of 1,540,025 Sterling Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the "Official List") and the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange plc (the "Main Market").

Application has also been made for the listing on the Official List and admission to the Main Market of 1,540,025 Sterling Shares. It is expected that such applications will become effective and that dealings in the new Sterling Shares will commence on 28 October 2014. Accordingly, the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares, with effect from 28 October 2014 will be as follows:

227,184,023         Sterling Shares

221,576,309         Euro Shares

Euro Shares have 1 vote per share, and Sterling Shares have 1.17 votes per share. The Company holds the following ordinary shares in treasury:

280,875 ordinary Euro shares of no par value (non-voting)

7,401 ordinary Sterling shares of no par value (non-voting)

Following Conversion (which is expected to take place on 28 October 2014) the total number of voting rights in the Company will be announced on 28 October 2014.
