January 2016 Share Conversion

The Company announces the conversion of a number of Euro Shares into Sterling Shares  and the conversion of a number of Sterling Shares into Euro Shares (the "Conversion").

On the basis of the net asset values of the Company's Euro and Sterling shares as at 31 December 2015 (using spot currency exchange rates as at 31 December 2015), the current conversion ratio applicable to a conversion of Euro Shares to Sterling Shares, calculated in accordance with the Company's articles of association, is 0.730286 Sterling Share per Euro Share. The current conversion ratio applicable to a conversion of Sterling Shares to Euro Shares, calculated in accordance with the Company's articles of association, is 1.369315 Euro Shares per Sterling Share.

The Company received eligible conversion notices from shareholders in respect of 2,600,000 Euro Shares and 21,900 Sterling Shares by the relevant closing date. Accordingly, an application has been made for the admission of 29,988 Euro Shares and 1,898,743 Sterling Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the "Official List") and the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange plc (the "Main Market"). It is expected that such application will become effective and that dealings in the new Euro Shares and new Sterling Shares will commence on 29 January 2016.  The revised number of total voting rights in the Company as adjusted for the Conversion will be announced shortly thereafter.
