                  NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING



The board of directors (the 'Board') of Datang International Power Generation
Co., Ltd. (the 'Company') hereby announces that a meeting of the Board will
be held on 27 August 2007 (Monday) at 9:00 a.m. to consider and approve, among
others, the interim results of the Company and its subsidiaries for the six
months ended 30 June 2007.
