                     NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING


The board of directors (the 'Board') of Datang International Power Generation
Co., Ltd. (the 'Company') hereby announces that a meeting of the Board will
be held on 29 April 2008 (Tuesday) to consider and approve, among others, the
unaudited first quarterly results of the Company and its subsidiaries for the
three months ended 31 March 2008.
