2008 Annual RESULTS (amendment)

This announcement is made by the Company in accordance with Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The full text of the 2008 annual results of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the 'Company') has been published on the website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. However, during the process of converting the format of the annual results by the Company, discrepancies between different versions of software occurred, and consequently causing incompleteness in certain information in the 2008 annual results. Please read the amended 2008 annual results (amendment) which is currently re-published on the website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (www.sse.com.cn).
