DCC PLC

AGM Statement
Addressing shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of DCC
plc, the value added marketing and distribution group, which
was held today in Dublin, Jim Flavin, the Founder and Chief
Executive, made the following statement on current trading and
the outlook for the Group:
'DCC Group trading in the first quarter of the financial year
has been strong.
Our IT Distribution business, SerCom Distribution, has
continued its record of excellent profit growth.
In Energy, sales volumes and profits in these seasonally less
important months are substantially up.
Healthcare has also started the year very well with
particularly strong profit growth in mobility and rehab and in
nutraceuticals.
Profit growth in the smaller Food division may be modest in
the first half but we expect good growth for the year as a
whole.
At SerCom Solutions we continue to invest in IT systems and
skilled personnel to position DCC for growth in supply chain
management and e-fulfilment services to the IT sector.
Revenues have advanced in line with expectations but no
material profit contribution is expected in the short term.
The outlook for DCC continues to be very promising for this
year and beyond.'
