Two New Non-Executive Directors

DCC plc, the business support services group, announces that Ms. Roisin Brennan
and Mr. Michael Buckley have today been co-opted as non-executive directors of
the Company.

Ms. Brennan, aged 40, is an executive director of IBI Corporate Finance Limited,
a position that she has held for the last ten years. She holds a first class
honours Law degree from University College Dublin and is a chartered accountant.
Ms. Brennan has extensive experience advising public companies in Ireland,
principally in relation to strategic issues and mergers & acquisitions. She has
also served as a non-executive director of the Irish Takeover Panel.

Mr. Buckley MA, LPh, MSI, aged 60, recently retired from the position of Group
Chief Executive of AIB. In addition to his extensive operational experience as
Chief Executive of Ireland's largest public company, Mr. Buckley, as a former
Managing Director of AIB Capital Markets division and the NCB stockbroking
group, has extensive capital markets knowledge and experience. Prior to his
involvement in the financial services area, he was a senior public servant in
Ireland and the EU. He is currently a non-executive director of M&T Bank
Corporation, Buffalo, New York State.

DCC now has eleven directors, seven non-executive and four executive.


Change in Composition of Board Committees

DCC also announces that the Board has carried out its normal periodic review of
the composition of Board Committees. The composition of the Committees with
effect from today is as follows:

New Senior Independent Director

In line with its policy to rotate the position of Senior Independent Director,
the Board of DCC has appointed Mr. Michael Buckley as Senior Independent
Director with effect from today.
