DCC ANNOUNCES FURTHER SHARE BUYBACK
DCC plc, the value added marketing and distribution group, announces the
purchase of a further 275,000 of its own shares at EUR9.25 per share today.
This purchase, together with the purchase of 2,000,000 shares announced
earlier today, brings the total number of shares purchased today to 2,275,000
shares, representing 2.66% of its issued share capital (excluding Treasury
Shares), at a total cost of EUR21.04 million.
DCC's purchases today, when combined with the 2,563,045 shares purchased last
year on 28 July 2000, mean that the total number of shares bought back is
4,838,045, representing 5.48% of its total issued share capital.
