DCC plc (the 'Company')

The Company has received a notification from Bank of Ireland Asset Management
Limited, pursuant to Section 67 of the Companies Act 1990, that Bank of Ireland
Asset Management Limited has an interest in 10,016,384 shares of €0.25 each in
DCC plc, representing 11.35% of the Company's issued share capital.

Of these shares 9,821,928 units are registered in the name of Bank of Ireland
Nominees Limited, 58,342 units are registered in the name of Nortrust Nominees
and 136,114 units are registered in the name of Citibank Nominees Limited as
registered owners only, on behalf of a range of clients who are each the
beneficial owner of a portion of the shareholding.
